Reset Nutanix Prism Web Console Password

It is often when we forgot or lost the password of Nutanix Prism web console. But don’t worry, have solution for it to reset the Nutanix prism password.

To reset the Nutanix Prism password is possible through ncli command line only.

You need to log in to the any Controller VM ( CVM ) of the cluster through SSH protocol and issue following single command

cvm$ ncli user reset-password user-name="admin" password="Enter_New_Password"

#Here we go, password is reset.

Now Nutanix Prism password is reset, Log in to Nutanix prism and enter credential as mentioned in command.
